KATE, in Tan, was expertly crafted from supple Spanish leather. She is a menswear inspired derby shoe in a solid tan, with a gold bucked double monk strap, a round toe and perforated brogue detailing.

The Derby shoe can be distinguished from the Oxford by their lacing, the facing and quarter sections of the shoe anatomy are stitched on top of the vamp of the shoe. The monk strap has a long history and has happily evolved into the charming shoe you see today. If you are looking for a semi-formal shoe, the double-monk strap is the perfect transitional option, as it's not as formal as the Oxford but not as relaxed as the Derby shoe or boot.
